Marques’ Almeida

The Portuguese-come-British label Marques’Almeida – by Marta Marques’ and Paulo Almeida – unveiled its Spring/Summer 2020 collection in London on Saturday, September 14th, 2019. Since its inception in 2011, the Veteran duo are best known for their inclusive designs, use of denim, and staple M’A girls. 

Solidifying the brand’s ethos, M’A opened the show with a fierce, black dress with pockets and a baroque-inspired neckline followed closely by brightly hued leathers, boldly patterned dresses, and monochromatic floral lace. The collection’s signature looks were completed with feather-fringed footwear, vintage combat boots, and strappy, spike-adorned sandals. Their consistently evolving, dialed-in style leaves an imprint of effortlessness and authenticity on the runway.
