Bonjour Couture!

International Fashion Week kicks off today in Paris. This is the first major couture event since before the pandemic. Eager audiences scramble to the Novotel, Les Halles, Paris, to see designs from Dubai, Paris, Milan, London, and New York take the runway today.

The audience not only includes all of the major couture houses in the industry, but also Royals, Ambassadors, dignitaries, Councils, fashion universities, influences, bloggers, Chambers of Commerce, celebrities, entrepreneurs, fashion buyers, and media from all over the world. This event also features the International Fashion Awards and the Emerging Designers competition.

Among the designers to kick off the event was the French couture house of Christian Dior. Displaying tweed ensembles with rich texture in muted hues and floor-length silk gauze dresses.

There is a spirit of excitement among the attendees at the return of public events and a palatable sense of hopefulness that normalcy is finally returning to our lives.
